How it works

Three steps. No new workflow to learn.

1

Drop in your notes

Paste your rough notes or dictate straight from the squad car. Messy is fine. Add the basics: who, where, when.

2

Get a structured draft

After Action Reports assembles a clean narrative in proper report format. Anything it can't verify from your notes is flagged for you, never invented.

3

Review, verify, certify

Walk the draft paragraph by paragraph. Confirm every name, date, and plate. Sign off, export, and file it like always. It's your report.

You own the report. The tool just does the typing.

Built around the one rule that matters: AI drafts, officers decide.

Straight answers

The questions officers actually ask.

Does my department need to approve this?

After Action Reports is a drafting aid, like spellcheck with ambition. You review, verify, and certify every report exactly as you do now, so the report that gets filed is yours. That said, check your agency's policy on third-party tools before using any of them on duty.

What happens to my notes and drafts?

Demo drafts are never stored anywhere. If you create an account, your drafts are automatically and permanently deleted 24 hours after you last work on them. Your department's records system is the system of record; this is the drafting desk, not the filing cabinet. Nothing is ever sold or used to train AI models.

What if the draft gets something wrong?

That's what the review step is for. Every fact is flagged until you verify or correct it, and nothing can be finalized until every flag is cleared and you've signed off. The tool is built on the assumption that drafts need checking.

How much will it cost?

Free while in beta. No department purchase order, no contract.

When does it launch?
